San Fernando Valley Market Update: 
Another week of huge growth in active listings. Folks who were on the fence about selling over the past few years are pulling the trigger as they hear of raising interest rates and prices likely to go down to single digit growth or stagnate toward the end of this year. For all intents and purposes, what I am seeing right now in the Valley is still the same as past year and a half; a well-staged and well-priced home will receive multiple offers. It is so important for sellers to put their best foot forward to take advantage of the current market....it could literally mean the difference of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

There are so many homes I see that are beautiful, but I think to myself would it really be comfortable living here? Is the space usable or just for looks? Well, this newer contemporary Spanish estate is the kind of home I can picture my son running around having fun in, a place where we would actually use the family room to watch TV and play board games, and of course this backyard with a great pool and basketball court. Not to mention is this is right off of Wells drive just south of the boulevard; one of my favorite areas of Tarzana!

Restaurant of the week: Sadaf (Encino)
If you live in the Valley and haven't eaten at Sadaf, I don't know if we can be friends. I'm kidding, but this really is a staple of Ventura Blvd. The service is great, and the food is consistently excellent. There are weeks I have eaten here three times it's that good, especially when I am trying to eat sort of healthy. I always order the juicy chicken and it is the most moist, delicious chicken I have found so far.
